Actor, Tara Sutaria, has been presented as Rebecca in the upcoming period gangster drama Toxic – A Fairytale For Grown-Ups headlined by Yash and directed by Geetu Mohandas.

The first-look poster, which came out on Saturday, features Sutaria holding a gun and wearing a strapless gown with lace gloves and styled hair as befits the film's retro setting. The image introduces her character and situates her within the larger visual world that the makers have been gradually revealing over the past few weeks.

The retro character reveal follows earlier introductions

Yash shared the poster on social media while announcing the character of Sutaria as Rebecca. The announcement comes after the earlier introductions of the characters Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, and Nayanthara, all introduced in period-inspired looks in keeping with the film's setting.

Sutaria's poster continues that visual language. In the picture she is shown aiming a gun at an unseen target, the expression controlled rather than overt action. The styling and framing suggest her character holds a position of authority in the film's narrative, though to date no plot details have emerged.
