According to multiple reports, the fire occurred in the apartment building during New Year midnight celebrations. Hruthik was staying on the fourth floor. As the fire spread across the floor, thick smoke had filled up the corridors, cutting off escape routes.
Hruthik managed to come down to the third floor but could not escape out of the building due to heavy smoke and flames. As there was no sign of exit, he jumped from the third floor. Hruthik received a serious injury on his head while falling and was immediately taken to a hospital, where he succumbed to death during treatment.

Hruthik had moved to Germany in 2023 where he was pursuing his master’s degree at University of Europe for Applied Sciences in Potsdam. He had earlier completed his BTech from Vaagdevi College of Engineering, Warangal, in 2022.
His relatives stated that he was planning to come back to his family for Sankranthi and was also talking about his return plans lately. His relatives from Malkapur were informed of his death by German authorities.
