The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has issued a monsoon advisory warning residents about several periods of dangerous high tides expected between June and September. The alert comes as Mumbai prepares for intensified monsoon activity, with authorities cautioning citizens against venturing near the sea during high-tide periods and adverse weather conditions.

According to the civic body, Mumbai is expected to witness multiple high tides exceeding 4.5 metres during the monsoon season, increasing the risk of coastal flooding and waterlogging in low-lying areas. Officials have urged residents to follow advisories issued by civic and disaster management authorities, per a report by NDTV.
