Gas cylinder explosion during a party at a nightclub. Twenty-five people died in a devastating fire at a popular nightclub in Goa on Saturday midnight. Around 50 people were injured. The nightclub manager was arrested in connection with the incident. This information was provided by Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant. He also announced a magistrate-level inquiry to investigate the entire incident.
The nightclub is located in an area adjacent to Baga sea beach, which is one of Goa's most popular beaches. Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant told a news agency that an FIR has been filed against the nightclub owner. Police have already arrested the manager. An arrest warrant has been issued against the club owner. He also stated that whoever is guilty in this incident will be punished.

On Sunday morning, the Goa police reported that 25 people died in this accident. Among the victims, four were tourists, and 14 were employees of the nightclub. Seven people have not been identified yet. Police preliminarily believe that the accident occurred due to a cylinder explosion. However, some eyewitnesses claim that fire was first seen on the ground floor of the club where tourists were dancing and celebrating, and then it spread. President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have expressed condolences over this incident.
