Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually inaugurate Skyroot Aerospace’s new Infinity Campus at 11 AM on November 27, according to an official government release today.
The advanced facility spans 200,000 square feet and is designed to support the complete lifecycle of launch vehicle development — from design and integration to testing. With this setup, Skyroot will have the capacity to produce one fully built orbital rocket every month.
During the inauguration, PM Modi will also unveil Skyroot’s first orbital-class rocket, Vikram-I. This launch vehicle is capable of placing satellites into orbit and represents a major leap for India’s private space industry.

Skyroot earlier made history in November 2022 by becoming the first Indian private company to send a rocket into space with its sub-orbital vehicle, Vikram-S.
About Skyroot
Skyroot Aerospace was founded by IIT graduates and former ISRO engineers Pawan Chandana and Bharath Dhaka. The company has quickly grown into a leading name in India’s emerging private space sector. Its progress reflects the impact of recent government reforms aimed at opening the space ecosystem and strengthening India’s global presence in the field.
Also, PM Narendra Modi on Monday hoisted the saffron Dharma Dhwaj atop the 191-foot-high shikhar of the Ayodhya Ram Temple.
The triangular flag, measuring ten feet by twenty feet, features the image of a radiant Sun, the inscribed word ‘Om’, and the sacred Kovidara tree. The flag will be placed on a ‘shikhar’ designed in the traditional North Indian Nagara style, while the 800-metre Parkota surrounding the temple draws from South Indian architectural elements.
Before the ceremony, PM Modi held a roadshow in Ayodhya and offered prayers at the Saptmandir and Sheshavtar Mandir.
