The word 'fugitive' seems to carry a negative connotation. But Lalit Modi and Vijay Mallya turned it upside down, and were seen celebrating being 'fugitives'. They declared, "We are India's biggest criminals." This proclamation might be aimed at mocking India.

What does the video show?

December 18 was Vijay Mallya's birthday. He threw a party, where Lalit Modi was also invited. They made a video together, which was later posted on Instagram. In the video, Lalit can be seen saying, "We are both fugitives. India's biggest fugitives."

Lalit Modi didn't spare sarcasm in the caption either. He wrote, "Let me do something to break the internet down again. Something for you media folks. Watch your heart out with envy."
