Winter means Nolen Gur. This season is incomplete without Nolen Gur Sandesh. But Christmas calls for cake. Though Bengalis have already enjoyed cakes made with nolen gur.

But have you tried nolen gur cheesecake?

This Christmas, you can make nolen gur cheesecake. Nolen Gur cheesecake can be prepared with simple ingredients and in less time.

Nolen Gur Cheesecake Recipe

Ingredients

250 grams cream cheese, 250 grams nolen gur, 150 grams khoya, 1 cup heavy whipped cream, 2 tablespoons flour, 50 grams castor sugar, 10-12 biscuits, 2 tablespoons butter, 2 spoons mashed sandesh.

Method

First, crush the biscuits into powder. Place a butter paper in the container where you will make the cheesecake. Arrange the biscuit powder on top of it. Now bake this for 10 minutes at 190 degrees Celsius. Make sure to preheat the oven beforehand.

In a bowl, mix nolen gur, cheese, khoya, cream, flour and castor sugar well. Once the biscuit base is set, pour the cheese batter over it. Then bake the mixture at 165-170 degrees Celsius for another hour. After baking, leave the cake inside the oven for another half hour. Keep the oven door open if necessary.

Once the cake reaches room temperature, put it in the refrigerator. After keeping it in the fridge for 5-6 hours, the nolen gur cheesecake will be ready. Before serving, sprinkle nolen gur and mashed sandesh on top. Your nolen gur cheesecake is ready.
