2) Non-stick cookware
To reduce oil usage, many people nowadays use non-stick or Teflon cookware. This Teflon is actually a type of toxic chemical. In the heat of fire, it melts and mixes with food. 3) Plastic containers
Even in trendy modular kitchens, cheap plastic containers peek through. Like cutting boards, plastic containers can pose the same kind of danger. Cheap water bottles are also guilty of the same fault. Cheap plastic contains a type of toxic chemical called BPA. If this enters the body, it can cause hormonal problems. The risk of being affected by deadly diseases like cancer also remains.
