Duka Valley is situated right between Lava and Pedong. Climbing through the meandering mountain tracks, you are enveloped by a sense of solitude. Finally, you reach Duka Valley- a peaceful and quiet hill village. The place has gained fame largely because of the Duka Waterfalls. One of the main attractions here, the waterfalls cascade down almost 400 feet in six or seven stages, surrounded by lush greenery and an air of quiet solitude. You can hike along the mountain trails to get close to the falls or explore the entire valley. In the heart of the village stands a small church. Though the local population belongs to the Lepcha community, most residents are Christians.
