Kedarkantha Trek

Maximum altitude: 12,500 ft
This peak also offers breathtaking sunrise views from its snow-clad peaks and is one of the most popular winter treks in India. Situated in the Govind Wildlife Sanctuary of Uttarkashi in Uttarakhand, this trek can easily be completed within five days.
Dayara Bugyal Trek
Distance: 22 km
Maximum altitude: 12,000 ft
Dayara Bugyal is famous for its wide, open alpine meadows and serpentine forest trails. This trekking trip in Uttarkashi's Bhatiwari tehsil is appropriate for families or a group of friends. More experienced trekkers can continue their journey to Sunya Top, which reaches an altitude of 12,900 ft-slightly higher than the initial top.
Chopta–Chandrashila Trek

This trek in Chamoli, Uttarakhand, gives a view of snow-clad mountains on one side and a frozen lake on the other. This trek usually takes six days to complete.
Nag Tibba Trek

Those seeking a shorter winter trek should go to Nag Tibba. This trekking path opens up snow-laden trails and the visual panorama of the surrounding mountains. Located in Tehri Garhwal, Uttarakhand, it’s also perfect for first-time trekkers due to its relatively moderate altitude.
