Sitong is famous in North Bengal for its orange orchards, a stunning mountain village located at an altitude of around 4,800 feet. It looks like a hand-painted postcard. Very close to Sitong lies another hidden gem: Turuk (Toryok). This village is an ideal place to spend a few peaceful days nestled in the mountains.

Along with oranges, Turuk has also made a name for itself for its organic terraced farming along the slopes. You can walk through the forested trails of Dhupi jungle and explore the entire village on foot, an experience that is guaranteed to be delightful. Kanchenjunga forms the backdrop here, and as an added bonus you get vibrant wildflowers all around.
