India’s emphatic win over Pakistan in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026 was already a headline-grabbing moment. But what truly caught the internet’s attention came after the final ball was bowled. A light-hearted exchange between teammates added an unexpected twist to an otherwise dominant night for India, turning a routine post-match scene into a viral sensation.

India outclasses Pakistan in a pressure clash

India delivered a clinical performance in one of cricket’s most high-voltage rivalries, defeating Pakistan by 61 runs in a crucial group-stage encounter. With both teams aware of the stakes, India rose to the occasion across all departments.

After setting up a competitive total with disciplined batting, the bowlers tightened the screws during Pakistan’s chase. Sharp field placements, consistent line and length, and relentless pressure ensured there was no comeback. The win not only strengthened India’s position in the tournament but also underlined their dominance on the big stage.

As always in an India–Pakistan clash, emotions ran high. Every dropped chance, every boundary, and every wicket carried weight. One such moment in the field would later become the centre of attention.

Surya–Kuldeep banter steals the spotlight

After the match, cameras captured a candid interaction between captain Suryakumar Yadav and spinner Kuldeep Yadav. They recreated a match situation developed on Monday game night with the famous Babu Bhaiya’s dialogue, “Tera toh game bazana parega”, which quickly went viral on social media, with fans sharing and decoding the moment.

The comment followed a dropped catch by Kuldeep during Pakistan’s innings. For which Surya seemed unhappy with Kuldeep, and a small banter between the stalwarts took place on the ground. Although it did not impact the result, it sparked animated reactions on the field, including visible frustration from Hardik Pandya. However, Surya’s remark appeared playful rather than critical.
