Melania and Donald Trump’s son, Barron, who is 19 years old, is back in the news after the White House posted a montage video mocking Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro following his arrest, poking fun at him. RadarOnline.com reports that there is a buzz about Barron Trump being possibly behind some of these tweets, which many believe.

White House trolls Maduro after arrest

On January 3, the White House X account shared a video combining clips of Maduro’s speech with a snippet of Secretary of State Marco Rubio, all set to Notorious B.I.G.’s hit Hypnotize. The post captioned the video, “If you don’t know, now you know,” alongside a bald eagle emoji, drawing widespread attention and sparking online debate.

Social media users responded swiftly with jokes that the White House Twitter handle looked more like that of a "keyboard warrior" than an official handle. A user on the X platform tweeted, “It has to be Barron Trump running this account,” while others posted similar comments, referring to the post as both “hilarious” and “terrifying.”

Barron Trump’s social media reputation

However, this isn’t the first time Barron has been linked to government social media activity. There were rumours that he might be the person running the TikTok account of the White House back in December 2025, after videos featuring the president and first lady in a light-hearted manner were posted on social media.

White House takes over DOJ X account

Radar had earlier reported that the White House temporarily took control of the X account belonging to the Department of Justice (DOJ) in late 2025 during the Epstein document filing. The tone in this account changed so much, sometimes sounding like the posts on the President’s Truth Social. In fact, the responses at times used derogatory terms; a reporter was called a “dope” by one. Whether Barron is actually making these postings is not verified, but the rumours are what are creating the buzz on social media.
