A 4.2 magnitude earthquake was felt in the Negev Desert in southern Israel on Thursday morning. Around 9 AM, the sound of sirens shook the area. Was this tremor natural, or is there a deeper mystery behind it? Amid the ongoing war tensions between Iran and America, speculation has arisen: Did Israel secretly conduct a nuclear bomb test?

The epicentre of the quake was near the highly secretive Dimona Nuclear Facility. Even more surprising, at the exact time the tremor was felt, an Emergency Drill for school students was being conducted across the country. Although pre-scheduled, this coincidence has further fueled suspicion. Military experts are noting the tremor’s depth and duration: it occurred just 10 km below the surface and lasted 1.5 seconds, data that reportedly matches low-yield nuclear tests.

Indian Embassy issues emergency advisory for citizens

Meanwhile, the Indian Embassy in Israel issued an emergency advisory for Indian citizens on the same day. Citizens have been advised to remain alert and avoid unnecessary travel to Israel. A 24-hour helpline number has also been launched. Although the advisory was issued in the context of rising tensions between Iran and America, some netizens believe the Negev Desert earthquake is indirectly behind this caution.
