Iran-linked social media accounts have circulated a satire video on Lego characters lampooning President Donald Trump of the US. The short video comes in light of a security threat that occurred at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner held in Washington DC.
In a rap style "diss track," the video makes reference to the chaos caused when there were rumors of gunfire that forced a rapid evacuation from the premises. At the time, Trump had been delivering his address to the attendees.

Satire targets leadership and narrative control
The animated video makes use of fictitious images and lyrics to challenge Trump's reaction to the situation and his general public persona. The video implies that high-profile events are created in order to divert attention at politically critical times, while other lyrics make fun of attempts to manage the narrative.
Furthermore, the video employs images of rapid departures from a poorly furnished banquet scene in order to imply a state of chaos. However, it insists that although panic was rampant, there were no serious consequences as a result of the event. Instead, the video is seen as overexaggerated.

The video further criticises Trump’s leadership style, with references to a “fragile ego” and declining public support. It also suggests that sections of his support base are reassessing their views, though such claims remain part of the video’s satirical framing.
Dinner disruption sparks global reaction
There was a disruption at the White House Correspondents' Dinner event, which was attended by many prominent figures of the United States, including First Lady Melania Trump and Vice President JD Vance. Guests were evacuated from the premises due to security issues, but the problem was later solved.

Although information about this event is not provided officially, this situation became the focus of Internet discussion, causing a number of comments and speculations, as well as satirical reaction to this story outside the United States.
It is important to emphasise that this video is only one of many politically themed materials distributed on the Web through animation software. In April, YouTube announced that it would block users associated with Iran who have been producing numerous viral videos with Lego-like visuals targeting world leaders.
