Actor Rashmika Mandanna marked her 30th birthday on April 5 in Virajpet, Kodagu district, Karnataka. She turned 30 this year and celebrated the special day in the presence of her loved ones. It was also her first visit to her hometown after her marriage to actor Vijay Deverakonda in Udaipur on February 26, making it a heartwarming homecoming for the newlyweds. The occasion brought together close family members for an intimate two-day celebration rooted in local tradition.
Her father, Madan Mandanna, gifted her a bungalow called "Serenity" near Virajpet, according to Nakkheeran. More than just a luxury asset, the property is envisioned as a quiet retreat, offering her a peaceful escape from her busy professional life.
Homecoming steeped in tradition
As per the report of NDTV, the newlywed couple visited the Sri Igguthappa Temple in Padi before a private reception held on April 5 and 6. Rashmika Mandanna wore traditional Kodava ethnic clothing during the event, and the family observed customary Kodava practices. Meals were arranged for locals, sweets were distributed, and scholarships were announced for academically distinguished students from the region.

Inside Rashmika’s emotional birthday reflections
On Instagram, Rashmika Mandanna shared photographs from the celebration. She wrote a caption, "My 30th birthday was kinda different this time. Went back home after a while. Went to the temple I've grown up going to..Went to my school and saw it from outside (because of time constraints) and revisited childhood for a quick bit.. " She further added, "Cut the cake amongst the people who are the reason for my being today to the people who are going to be my forever."
She noted that this birthday felt different — she returned home after a gap, visited a temple she had frequented since childhood, and stopped outside her former school, Coorg Public School in Gonikoppal, Karnataka, due to time constraints. She also spent time with her close friends during the visit, adding a personal touch to the celebrations.
Special gathering for family who missed the wedding
According to the Instagram post, the private Coorg reception was organised specifically to include relatives who missed the grand wedding ceremony. She also hosted a small dinner gathering for those family members who could not attend the wedding. The gathering served both as a birthday event and a belated wedding celebration for those closest to her.
