If you are a customer and you are planning your banking needs for the coming days, it is important to be aware of branch operations in the upcoming week starting December 22, 2025. Bank working days will vary across states due to several regional and national holidays.
On December 22, 2025 (Monday), banks will remain closed in Sikkim on account of the Losoong and Namsoong festival. In the rest of the country, bank branches will function as usual.
Banks will remain open across India on December 23, 2025 (Tuesday), with normal banking operations in place.
On December 24, 2025 (Wednesday), banks will be closed in Mizoram, Nagaland, and Meghalaya due to Christmas Eve, while branches in other states will remain open.

December 25, 2025 (Thursday) is a nationwide bank holiday, with banks across India remaining closed to mark Christmas.
Banks will again be closed on December 26, 2025 (Friday) in Mizoram, Nagaland, and Meghalaya for Christmas celebrations, while branches in other states will remain open.
On December 27, 2025 (Saturday), banks will be closed in Nagaland due to Christmas. In the rest of India, branches will follow the regular Saturday schedule and remain open as it is the fourth Saturday of the month.

Towards the end of the week, on December 30, 2025 (Tuesday), banks will remain closed in Meghalaya to commemorate the death anniversary of U Kiang Nangbah. On December 31, 2025 (Wednesday), banks will be closed in Mizoram and Manipur due to New Year’s Eve and the Imoinu Iratpa festival.
Customers are advised to check state-wise bank holiday schedules before visiting branches and rely on digital banking services, which will continue to remain available throughout the week.
