NBFC stock in focus: Morgan Stanley bullish on Aditya Birla Capital, sees 18% upside

Aditya Birla Capital shares extend their stellar rally, with Morgan Stanley projecting further upside driven by strong loan growth, rising margins and improving profitability.

The share price of Aditya Birla Capital Limited, a company in the non-banking finance company (NBFC) sector, has seen significant growth over the past year. The stock price of this company has increased by more than 100 per cent. International financial advisory firm Morgan Stanley expects major growth in this company's shares in the coming days as well. The brokerage firm states that the price of this NBFC stock could rise due to significant increases in multiple factors like net interest margin, loan growth, and profit.

On Wednesday, the downward trend continues in the country's stock market. Even amid this, the company's share price increased by 0.50 per cent to ₹362.80. On January 6, this company's share price was ₹369.25, which was the highest in the past 52 weeks.

According to Bombay Stock Exchange data, Aditya Birla Capital's share price has increased by 101 per cent over the past year. Over the past five years, this company's share price has grown by 288 per cent.

In a report published on January 7, Morgan Stanley stated that Aditya Birla Capital's stock could outperform the benchmark index over the next two months. For this reason, Morgan Stanley has set a target price of ₹427 for this stock. This means the share could see an 18.4 per cent increase compared to the last closing. Morgan Stanley's report on this stock states, "This stock has performed well in 2025. There is potential for this stock to grow in the coming days as well."
