Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) is a subsidiary of the state-owned enterprise Coal India Limited. On Friday, January 9, this company's IPO subscription will begin in the country's primary market. The subscription for Bharat Coking Coal Limited's IPO will begin from Friday, January 9. It will continue until Tuesday, January 13. Through the IPO, the company will raise ₹1,071 crore from the market. For this, BCCL will release 46 crore 57 lakh shares in the market. The price band per share is ₹21 to ₹23. An IPO lot is being created for retail investors with 600 shares. This means the minimum investment cost for this IPO is ₹13,800. The stock will be listed on both exchanges in the country, the National Stock Exchange and the Bombay Stock Exchange.

Grey market premium fuels investor optimism

Even before the subscription begins, investors' interest in Bharat Coking Coal Limited's IPO is increasing. The same indication is emerging from the grey market premium. A day before the subscription starts, BCCL's GMP stands at ₹11.50. This means it could list on the exchange at ₹34.50 (₹23+₹11.50). In other words, a 50 percent return could be obtained from Bharat Coking Coal Limited's IPO on the very day of stock exchange listing.
