Gold prices fall further in Kolkata as silver sees sharp decline

Gold prices eased further in Kolkata on Monday, while silver recorded a notable drop, offering relief to buyers amid market fluctuations.

Recently, volatility has been seen in gold and silver prices in the international market. After Thursday, prices of gold and silver fell on Friday as well. 24-carat gold bar (retail): ₹1,53,650/ 1 gram

22-carat hallmark jewellery gold: ₹1,46,050/ 1 gram

Silver (retail): ₹2,45,800/ kg

24-carat gold bar: ₹1,54,000/ 1 gram

Silver (retail): ₹2,65,400/ kg

Gold and silver prices have fallen considerably compared to yesterday.

Since February 4, gold and silver prices have dropped significantly.

On February 6, when silver prices had come down, they were at the same level as on January 9-10. Gold prices have also seen a significant decline.
