The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has officially released the admit cards for the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) 2026 for Class 6 admissions. Students who have applied for the upcoming entrance test can now download their hall tickets for free from the official website, navodaya.gov.in. The release of the admit card signals the start of the final preparation phase for thousands of young students across the country.

What is JNVST?

The JNVST is a national-level entrance exam held every year to select children for admission to Class 6 in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas, which are government-run residential schools for students. The Navodaya Vidyalaya Scheme is a Government of India initiative that is intended to provide quality education, such as free schooling and boarding, to students across India from all walks of life.
