Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor has delivered some of the great films that have left their impact on the fans' minds and definitely at the box office in recent years. After the success of Animal, the actor has been seen quite busy with his new projects. With films like Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love And War and the sequel Ramayana in progress, Ranbir might be feeling a bit worried about the success of his upcoming films.
According to a Bollywood Hungama report, Ranbir has requested Sanjay Leela Bhansali to release Love and War to keep a four-month time interval between his film releases.
When will Ranbir Kapoor's 'Love And War' release
Starring Vicky Kaushal, Alia Bhatt, alongside Ranbir Kapoor; Love and War's plot revolves around two Army officers finding themselves in a love triangle. Earlier, during a Meet and Greet event, Ranbir stated,"Love and War is something which is every actor’s dream."
A trade source said, "He wants to ensure that there's atleast 4 months gap between Love And War and Ramayana. Since the date of Ramayana can't move, RK has requested Sanjay Leela Bhansali to bring Love And War on the big screen, latest by June 2026," according to a Bollywood Hungama report.
"Ranbir's producer, Namit Malhotra too, is putting the pressure to ensure that SLB releases Love and War in June, as he doesn't want the aftermath of Love And War to impact Ramayana in any way, given that the latter is a much bigger film," said the source, as per the report.
The report also noted that the Ram-Leela Director has been eyeing the month of August to release his film as the storyline resonates more with the time of Independence Day. The source went on saying, "But RK feels that there's too little of a gap between Love and War and Ramayana. He is firm on his stance of releasing Love and War in June."
Sanjay Leela Bhansali hasn't made any official announcement regarding the release of the film yet.
