The sequel to the 2023 hit is still doing well on global charts, even though its daily collections are now starting to drop in different regions.
Blockbuster run continues worldwide

Overseas collections alone stand at Rs 1,800 crore, forming a major share of the total earnings.
India vs overseas performance

Declining daily box office trend
As per The Times of India reports, the film’s daily collections have dropped in recent days. On day 18, the English version earned just Rs 6 lakh, while the Hindi version made only Rs 1 lakh. Earlier, the English version collected Rs 20 lakh on day 16 and Rs 25 lakh on day 17, showing a steady decline.
Mixed reviews from critics
ETimes gave the film a 2.5-star rating and the review says, "Ultimately, the film suffers from a lack of a clear centre. It doesn’t anchor itself in a strong character arc or a compelling emotional journey; instead, opting for a scattershot approach that prioritises movement over meaning. The result is a film that feels more like a product — an energetic, visually appealing one — than a fully realised story." Many critics liked the animation and energetic scenes, but some felt the story was not as strong as the first film.
