Central Bank of India invites applications for 350 officer vacancies; check out eligibility, fee details and more

Central Bank of India has opened applications for multiple officer-level posts in 2026, with key dates and eligibility norms now available for interested candidates.

The Central Bank of India has made a major announcement of a recruitment drive for 2026, inviting online applications for Foreign Exchange Officer and Marketing Officer posts. Interested and eligible candidates can apply through the official website, centralbank.bank.in.

The online registration process has started from January 20, 2026, and will end on February 3, 2026. According to the notification, the online written test will be conducted in February/March 2026, and the interviews will be conducted in March/April 2026.

This recruitment drive is intended to fill a total of 350 posts in the two officer-level positions.

Vacancy details and eligibility criteria

Educational qualification

Foreign Exchange Officer (Middle Management Grade Scale III):

The candidates must have completed a full-time graduation program in any stream from an All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) or University Grants Commission (UGC) recognised university or college. According to the official notification, the candidates with professional qualifications like CFA, CA, or MBA in a related field will be given preference.

Marketing Officer (Junior Management Grade Scale I):

The candidate should have a full-time graduation from an AICTE/UGC recognised institution with a two-year full-time MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree. The recognised degrees are MBA, PGDBA, PGDBM, PGPM, or PGDM with a major specialisation in Marketing.

Selection process

The selection process will consist of an online written test followed by a personal interview. The written examination will include 100 questions for 100 marks, with a total duration of two hours.

The minimum qualifying marks in the written test are 50% for Unreserved/EWS candidates and 45% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD ("Divyangjan") candidates.

Application fee

Candidates from the General and other categories are required to pay an application fee of ₹850/-. For candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, PwBD ("Divyangjan"), and Women categories, the fee is ₹175/-.

Payments can be made online using Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards, Mobile Wallets, or UPI, by following the on-screen instructions.

Candidates are advised to review the official notification carefully before applying to ensure they meet all eligibility requirements within the given timelines.
