Baking soda
Baking soda is unmatched when it comes to keeping the kitchen shiny and germ-free. Take a bowl and add a sufficient amount of baking soda. Mix water to make a thick paste. Open the part of the chimney where oil accumulates and discard the oil. Then apply the baking soda paste on it and leave it for half an hour. Also apply the paste on the outer surface of the chimney.
After 30 minutes, wipe everything with a damp cloth. Baking soda will remove all oily stains.
Vinegar
Vinegar also helps in keeping the kitchen clean. You can regularly clean kitchen slabs, ovens, and tiles with a mixture of vinegar and water.
In a spray bottle, mix equal amounts of water and vinegar. Spray this mixture on the chimney, then wipe it with a damp cloth. This will keep the chimney shiny.

Liquid dish soap
Sometimes, even after cleaning with baking soda and vinegar, the greasy residue doesn’t go away completely. A slight oily film still remains. That’s when liquid dish soap comes in handy.
Mix liquid dish soap with water. Dip a sponge into the mixture and clean the chimney. Then wipe it with a cloth. The chimney will look as good as new.
