Many people say that if you love someone, you have to suffer. They say your body and health deteriorate. But research says otherwise. If you are in love, you apparently stay completely healthy. And your heart remains absolutely fit. Falling in love makes the mind feel cheerful. If the relationship is beautiful and healthy, then mental health and heart health improve.
Recently, a research paper has been published in the Canadian Journal of Cardiology. It shows that heart disease patients who maintain a healthy and beautiful lifestyle have better heart and mental health compared to others.
This research analysed 16 studies involving 1,400 heart patients and their partners. It found that 77% of couple-based interventions produced good results. The condition of those heart patients improved.

According to Heather Tulloch, psychologist at the Ottawa Heart Institute and lead author of this research, although one person has heart problems, it affects both. But with the partner's support, care, and love, the patient can recover.

This is not the first time it has been shown that having a loved one nearby keeps blood pressure and stress under control. A 2019 study published in the Psychophysiological Journal revealed that thinking about a loved one or having a partner nearby keeps blood pressure relatively normal. Therefore, beautiful relationships are extremely important for staying healthy.
Having a partner by your side helps you face any difficult situation.
