The IPL governing council released the players who will go under the hammer in this year’s auction. 350 players, along with prominent names like Cameron Green, Steve Smith and Quinton De Kock, have registered their names to go under the hammer.

De Kock, who decided not to put his name in the auction, made a comeback in the list. The IPL auction is going to be held on 16th December in Abu Dhabi, and the IPL governing council confirmed that the auction event will start from 2.30 PM.

KKR and CSK will be the busiest in the auction as both teams have to address major areas for their team. CSK needs a rock-solid finisher, and KKR needs consistent batters in the opening. Someone like Jamie Smith will be a great fit for them. CSK and KKR will enter the auction with the highest purses of 64.3 crore and 43.4 crore each. Except CSK and KKR, no team has more than 27 crore in their purse. SRH and DC will enter the auction with the third and fourth-highest purses.
