ICC unveils Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 schedule: India to meet Pakistan on June 14

The ICC has unveiled the complete schedule for the Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 in England, with India set to open their campaign against Pakistan on June 14.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Tuesday, February 24, announced the full schedule for the Women’s T20 World Cup 2026. The tournament will be hosted by England from June 12 to July 5, with 12 teams divided into two groups.

England will kick off the tournament on June 12 against Sri Lanka. The following day, Ireland will take on Scotland. With the competition being held in Europe this time, matchups among European teams are expected to draw special attention, including England’s clash with Scotland on June 20.

Bangladesh, Ireland, Scotland and the Netherlands secured their places in the tournament through the qualifier held in Nepal last month. They join New Zealand and host England in the main event.

Group composition

Group 1: Australia, South Africa, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and the Netherlands

Group 2: West Indies, England, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Ireland and Scotland

India’s match schedule

India will begin their campaign with a high-voltage clash against Pakistan at Edgbaston on June 14.

June 14 – vs Pakistan, Edgbaston

June 17 – vs Netherlands, Headingley

June 21 – vs South Africa, Old Trafford

June 25 – vs Bangladesh, Old Trafford

June 28 – vs Australia, Lord’s

All matches will start at 7 PM Indian time. The final is scheduled for July 5 at Lord’s Cricket Ground.
