BCCI announced the names of 350 players from the initial list of 1355 for the IPL mini auction. This means the franchises have expressed interest in taking these 350 players into their teams.

These players will be called to the auction table. Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan was dropped from this list.

The auction will be held on Tuesday, December 16, in Abu Dhabi. This marks the second consecutive auction being held in Abu Dhabi. A total of 1355 players had registered their names for this mini auction. As every year, BCCI shared those names with the franchises, and they selected a total of 350 players.

Along with the initially registered players, many new players have been added to this final list.

Seven players from Bangladesh got the opportunity in this list. Shakib Al Hasan was dropped. This means no franchise is interested in Shakib. Initially, Shakib had set his base price at 1 crore rupees for the auction.

Among Bangladesh's seven players are Mustafizur Rahman, Rishad Hossain, Taskin Ahmed, Nahid Rana, Tanzim Hasan Sakib, Rakibul Hasan and Shariful Islam. This is the first time Rakibul's name will be put up in the IPL auction.

Among these seven, only Mustafizur has the highest base price. His base price is 2 crore rupees. On the other hand, Taskin, Tanzim Sakib, Shariful, and Nahid Rana's base price is 75 lakh rupees. Rakibul's price is 30 lakh.

Last season, none from Bangladesh got a team in the auction. Mustafizur played as a replacement player. On the other hand, when Shakib Al Hasan was put up on the auction table last time, he initially remained unsold. After that, he was not put up for a second time as no team showed interest. This time, Shakib was dropped even before the auction. Following this, it is believed that Shakib's IPL career is virtually over.
