Rohit Sharma, the two-time ICC trophy-winning captain, is all set to make his comeback for his state, Mumbai, after the BCCI's mandate. He is all set to play the knockouts of the Syed Mushtaq Ali trophy, between December 12 to December 18. ending on December 24.
Mumbai Cricket Association confirmed Rohit's availability for the knockouts, as a source said, as cited by HT cricket, "He has expressed his desire to play for Mumbai in the knockouts of SMAT."
Though Rohit Sharma is just playing one format right now, he still confirmed his availability for SMAT.

Rohit Sharma is currently playing the SA series and will play the series decider in Visakhapatnam on 6th December. He is in good touch since he made his comeback in international cricket. In this series, he already made a fifty in the first match.
Rohit last featured for Mumbai in the SMAT almost 14 years ago in the 2011/12 tournament. Mumbai has won all its league-stage matches in Lucknow, and after that, the Mumbai team topped the Elite Group A table with 16 points.
Rohit will also feature in the Vijay Hazare Trophy and will give him the game time the selectors wanted.
