POCO M8 launched in India: Here's what we know

POCO is going to launch a new smartphone series on January 13th, 2026, in India. The device is powered by a Snapdragon 6 processor.

January comes up with big surprises for tech enthusiasts. On 13th January, POCO launched their latest series phone, M8, in India. POCO is known for pocket-friendly smartphones.

Over the years, the POCO M series has gained popularity for its budget-friendly, strong build, battery life, and performance. POCO targeted young generations, such as students.

It is said that the POCO M8 device features a 6.77-inch full HD display and a curved display. It will have a 120 Hz refresh rate, and it is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor.

More about POCO M8

POCO M8 is based on the previous M series phone, POCO M7, but it comes with a larger display, a 17.2 cm (6.77 inch) Full HD+ display, 2392 x 1080 pixels resolution, than the previous model, a 120 Hz refresh rate for smoothness while scrolling and gaming, and most interestingly, it is built with the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor.

POCO M8 rear camera is 50MP and 20MP front camera due to Android 15 HyperOS 2.0 existence. Its battery life also expanded to a 5,520 mAh battery with fast charging 45 W support.

This device is especially built for heavy gaming and multitasking, such as some high-power apps. This device comes with two variants of expandable storage, like 6GB RAM+128 GB storage and 8GB RAM+256 GB storage. The device’s price will start from ₹18,999.

On 13th January, it will be available in both markets, online and offline stores. POCO M8 will come with three colour options: Carbon Black, Frost Silver, and Glacial Blue.

In the box, users get one handset, 1 adapter, a Type-C USB cable, a SIM eject tool, a phone cover, a guide manual, and a warranty card. The POCO company will provide a one-year manufacturer's warranty for the phone and a one-month warranty for the box accessories.
