How can Instagram users download their account data easily
If you are worried about losing important chats, photos, posts or stories before deleting your Instagram account, the platform allows users to download a copy of their complete account data. This helps users save their memories, conversations and activities safely before taking a break from Instagram or permanently leaving the platform.
To download the data, users need to log into Instagram through the app or a web browser. After opening the profile section, tap the three-line menu and go to “Settings and Activity”.
Then open “Accounts Centre,” select “Your information and permissions” and click on “Export your information”. After choosing “Create Export”, users can select the correct email address where the download link will be sent.
How can users customise Instagram data download settings
Users can also customise the type of data they want to download in the account data report. Instagram allows users to choose a specific date range, select the file format and even decide the quality of photos and videos available for download.
