POCO launched its new smartphone in the Indian market. The new model of the smartphone is the POCO C85 5G. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer claims that this new model will make a significant impact in the sub ₹12,000 segment. While multiple models already exist in this segment, Poco will directly compete with models from brands like Infinix, iQOO, and Oppo.
What is the price of POCO C85 5G?
POCO C85 5G comes with multiple variants. The 4GB RAM and 128GB storage model is priced at ₹11,999. The 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model is priced at ₹12,999. The 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model is priced at ₹13,999. The company has announced that these prices will remain for the 'first sale'.

Bank discounts
The launch offer includes discounts on multiple bank cards. There is a flat ₹1,000 discount on HDFC, ICICI, and SBI credit and debit cards. The model also comes with exchange bonuses, which are subject to conditions. As a result, the phone's price will be somewhat reduced. Sales of this Poco model will begin through Flipkart on December 16.
Features available in POCO's new model
POCO C85 5G features a 6.9-inch HD screen with 120Hz refresh rate. It comes with an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance. The phone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor. This model has 128GB internal storage. Along with that, there is a microSD card slot supporting up to 1TB. The new phone model is currently available in 3 colours.

This POCO model has a 6000 mAh battery. It has 33W fast charging facility. The company claims that the phone can charge up to 50% in 28 minutes. This model has a special feature. Items like earbuds can be charged through 10W wired reverse charging. It has 50MP dual rear camera powered by AI and 8MP front camera.
Future updates
This phone has HyperOS 2.2. POCO has announced that the phone will get Android updates for 2 years and security updates for 4 years.
