'Eternal' founder and CEO Deepinder Goyal has teased the release of a new deep-tech device named 'Temple.' The food delivery giant Zomato founder posted a picture of the device on social media with the caption, "Coming soon."
What is Temple?
'Temple' is a new deep-tech device being launched by Goyal, which will track the flow of blood to the human brain. The device has sparked curiosity after Deepinder Goyal was spotted with a small gold-colored sensor on his forehead. According to The Economic Times, the 'Temple' is an experimental gadget built to track brain blood flow with real-time, continuous precision.
The vision behind 'Temple' is based upon three factors. Firstly, how standing up straight can lower blood flow to the brain, secondly, how sensitive areas like the hypothalamus and brainstem are to these changes, and finally, how these parts of the brain help control the body's ageing process.

On November 15, Goyal posted on X, "Nobody has put these 3 pieces together into a single, testable mechanism for ageing. A big part of human ageing might be brain-first and gravity-driven, and not body-first (like we’ve always believed). That’s the breakthrough." He added, "The more time we spent asking scientists to poke holes in this, the more I began to feel like we were tracing the outline of something hidden in plain sight."
'Temple' is being used by the Zomato founder for a year now, and Goyal looks at its potential global reach. He has said that blood flow to the brain has been recognised as a major indicator for ageing, longevity, and cognitive health, The Economic Times reported.
