A violent attack at a popular café in Bhopal has left the staff and customers shaken after a group of 20–25 masked men stormed the premises with swords, sticks, and baseball bats. The incident happened on the intervening night of November 18 at Magic Spot Café in the Misrod area of Madhya Pradesh’s capital along Hoshangabad Road.

CCTV footage at the café shows the attackers storming inside, faces covered, and immediately resorting to smashing furniture, glass panes, counters, and electronic equipment. In a matter of minutes, the group had caused extensive damage that forced customers to flee in panic.

According to eyewitness accounts and video evidence, the staff of the café tried to save themselves during the sudden attack but were overwhelmed. One employee was injured with a sword, and a customer suffered from a fractured finger due to being hit with a stick. The sudden violence inside the café created scenes of chaos, with several customers, most of them young couples, rushing outside.

An FIR has been filed by Saksham Goswami, the owner of Magic Spot Café, saying that he has no known personal or business disputes. Based on initial inputs and CCTV clues, five people have been named in his complaint.
