Anushka Sharma, who has been away from the screen for more than 8 years, recently appeared in an ad for Heera by GIVA. As the video launched, fans were left awestruck at the new appearance of the actress.
Return to screen after a decade
With her appearance in the latest ad for GIVA, fans are delighted to see her back in their screens after almost a decade.
In the Instagram post, one fan commented, “Damn, seeing (her) on screen after a really long time.”
Another added, “Setting aside her recent obsession with that demigod-like figure, she's a gorgeous woman living what seems like a fairytale life.”
Some people, however has some negative reviews about the changes she has undergone over the years. “Is this edited or work done on the face? Either way, it's not looking natural. Also, lately there's something about her that doesn't sit right, I don't know what,” remarked one fan.

But fans of Anushka Sharma have continuously defended her against such unsubstantial claims. “We have seen her in stadiums, too. This is age-related, and some of it is here in the video due to editing,” one fan commented.
“People here commenting about her face, you are the same people who scream about plastic surgeries gone wrong on actresses. As a mother of 2, she looks great. I mean, as a mother of 1, I can say it’s so hard to get back in shape. Your metabolism is gone to dogs, and it takes ages to feel mentally normal, let alone physically.
Give some grace to women out there. I’m not a big Anushka fan myself (given her holier-than-thou attitude and her ability to look through people). But I’m speaking for women in general out there” another social media user wrote in defense of the actress.
Her career breakthrough
The actress who debuted in 2008 opposite Shah Rukh Khan in the romantic drama 'Rab ne Bana di Jodi' under Yash Raj Films has had a very successful career ever since. She established herself as a leading Bollywood actress with back-to-back hits like 'Band Baaja Baaraat', 'PK', 'Sultan' and 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil'.
