Akasa Air will start daily flights from Noida International Airport to Bengaluru and Navi Mumbai from June 16, and ticket bookings for the routes are now open. As Noida International Airport prepares to begin commercial operations from June 15, 2026, airlines have started announcing their plans for the new aviation hub.

After IndiGo, Akasa Air has also confirmed its services from the airport with direct daily flights to Bengaluru and Navi Mumbai. According to a report by The Indian Express, the new routes are expected to improve connectivity between the NCR and two major business cities in India.

Akasa Air announces new Noida routes

According to Akasa Air, the new flight services will begin from June 16, just a day after Noida International Airport officially opens for commercial operations. The airline said these routes will improve connectivity to the NCR and strengthen links with fast-growing business and technology hubs.

Akasa Air currently operates 188 weekly flights across the broader NCR region, and the addition of Noida International Airport is expected to further expand its presence in northern India. The launch is also seen as an important step to reduce air traffic pressure on Delhi’s existing airport while giving passengers another travel option in the region.

When will flights begin

As per News18 reports, Akasa Air will begin daily non-stop operations from Noida International Airport starting June 16, 2026, operating four daily flights across two routes: Bengaluru and Navi Mumbai.

Flight timings for Bengaluru route

As per News18 reports, on the Bengaluru route, flight QP 1575 will depart Bengaluru at 4:25 pm and arrive in Noida at 7:15 pm. The return service, QP 1576, will leave Noida at 7:55 pm and reach Bengaluru at 11 pm.

According to Akasa Air, the Bengaluru flights will operate daily and non-stop.

Navi Mumbai flight schedule

For the Navi Mumbai route, flight QP 2017 will depart at 7:25 am and arrive in Noida at 9:35 am. The return flight, QP 2018, will take off from Noida at 10:15 am and land in Navi Mumbai at 12:30 pm.

Ticket booking details

Passengers can already book tickets for the new routes through Akasa Air’s official website, the airline’s Android and iOS mobile apps, as well as other online travel platforms. Akasa Air to set up MRO facility

As per News18 reports, apart from launching passenger services, Akasa Air has also announced plans to set up a modern Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facility within the airport premises. The proposed facility will support a wide range of aircraft maintenance activities and is expected to improve operational efficiency, safety standards and long-term technical support for the airline’s growing fleet.

Industry observers believe that the addition of an MRO hub could further strengthen the airport’s position as a future aviation and logistics centre in northern India.

How did Noida International Airport receive its operational approval

The development comes months after the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) granted an aerodrome licence to Yamuna International Airport Private Limited (YIAPL), the company developing and operating the airport. The licence was issued in March under the ‘Public Use’ category, allowing all-weather operations at the airport.

Once operational, Noida International Airport is expected to become one of India’s major aviation gateways, serving both domestic and international travellers while improving connectivity across Uttar Pradesh and the wider NCR region.
