West Bengal electoral rolls out: Here’s how to check if your name is on the list

West Bengal’s final voter list has been released by the Election Commission with over 7.04 crore names. Here’s a step-by-step guide to check whether your name appears in the electoral roll.

The Election Commission of India (EC) has published the final Electoral Roll for West Bengal. This list was released on Saturday. It contains the names of 7 crore 4 lakh 59 thousand 248 people. More than 60 lakh names are still under consideration.

This means they will have to rely on the supplementary list. After the publication of the final voter list, a total of 63 lakh 66 thousand 952 names were excluded. Among these, 58 lakh 20 thousand 899 names were excluded from the draft. 5 lakh 46 thousand 53 people were excluded from Form 7.

The commission has made it completely clear who is on this exclusion list. You can also check in one click whether your name is on the final voter list, whether the name is deleted or under adjudication.

Follow these simple steps to check the final voter list—

Click on https://www.eci.gov.in/

As soon as the page opens, you will see Download Electoral Roll

Click on it, a new page will open. Select State 'West Bengal'

There are 6 boxes at the beginning. State-Year of Revision-Roll Type-District-Assembly Constituency-Select Language. Fill them one by one. Write the Captcha

As soon as you enter the Assembly Constituency name, 'Part Number and Part Name' will appear below

Select your part number or part name and click 'Download Selected PDFs'

The voter list of your area will appear. Then match the serial number to see if the name is there or not.
