Winter enthusiasts have been beaming with joy since the beginning of the season. The northern winds have brought a wintry atmosphere across the state. From south to north, temperatures are hovering below normal everywhere. The weather office has announced that there is no possibility of any temperature change in the coming days.

According to meteorological department sources, Kolkata's mercury remains in the 15 degrees Celsius range on Sunday as well. Today, the city's minimum temperature was recorded at 15.8 degrees Celsius, which is below normal. However, temperatures will drop further in the western districts. Though light fog may appear in the morning, the sky will clear as the day progresses.
What will the weather be like in South Bengal?
The weather will remain dry in South Bengal for the next few days. There is no possibility of rain for now. In the western districts, minimum temperatures will hover between 11 to 13 degrees Celsius. In the coastal districts, temperatures are likely to remain between 14 to 16 degrees Celsius.
What will the weather be like in North Bengal?
North Bengal has also been experiencing a wintry atmosphere since the beginning of the season. The weather office has reported that minimum temperatures in Darjeeling and adjacent hilly areas will hover between 4 to 6 degrees Celsius. In the lower districts of North Bengal, including Malda, temperatures may remain between 15 to 16 degrees Celsius. Fog will prevail everywhere, reducing visibility. However, the sky will clear as the day progresses.
