Kolkata Metro's Blue Line services have been disrupted. Blue Line services have been partially suspended.
According to the Metro authority, a passenger attempted to commit suicide by jumping off the line at Netaji Metro Station (Kudghat area) on the Blue Line on Thursday afternoon. That's why the Blue Line service has been disrupted.
At present, the up and down line metro services are running from Dakshineswar to Maidan station.
Metro services from Shahid Khudiram station to Rabindra Sadan metro station have been suspended for the time being.

The update provided by Kolkata Metro on its app did not mention the time. However, several of the victims claimed that the incident took place just before 3:30 pm on Thursday.
Ever since the closure of the Kavi Subhash Metro station, services on the Blue Line have been disrupted. Now the metro is running from Shahid Khudiram Metro Station to Dakshineswar.
On top of that, such incidents occurred on a working day, and ordinary passengers suffered greatly. Traffic from the south suburbs and south Kolkata to the north suburbs or main Kolkata was disrupted due to the disruption of metro services.
Now the passengers get down from the Esplanade and take the metro on the Blue Line and the Green Line. Commuters have also been affected due to the suspension of the metro from Shahid Khudiram to Rabindra Sadan station.
