Who was Haribol?
Haribol had gone to work as a construction worker in Jaipur, Rajasthan on October 9. Last week, his family members were informed over the phone from there that Haribol had gone missing. Subsequently, family members filed a written missing person complaint at Pukhuriया police station. Since this was a matter of another state, the police could not do much in this regard. The deceased's cousin brother Ratan Karmakar said, "On Sunday, police from Rajasthan called to inform that Haribol's body had been recovered. He cannot commit suicide. We believe my brother had substantial wage money with him. He was killed to snatch that money."
