Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg found herself in trouble after taking to the streets in support of Palestine. She was arrested on Tuesday while participating in a pro-Palestine demonstration in London. The sensational aspect is that Greta was arrested under Britain's Terrorism Act 2000.

This was reported by a campaign group in UK called 'Defend Our Juries'. Notably, this group has been campaigning for the lifting of the ban on the proscribed 'Palestine Action Group'. This group was also the organiser of the London demonstration.

The protesters had gathered in front of the 'Aspen Insurance' office in London. Pro-Palestine activists allege that this insurance company is linked to the Israeli defence organisation 'Elbit Systems'. This demonstration was organised under the name 'Prisoners for Palestine,' in protest against the 'Aspen Insurance' and in support of imprisoned 'Palestine Action Group' workers who are currently on a hunger strike.

Greta joined the demonstration carrying a protest placard. The placard read, 'I support Palestine Action prisoners. I oppose genocide.'

The City of London Police did not directly announce Greta's arrest. They reported that a 22-year-old woman was arrested for supporting the proscribed organisation. She was also seen being put into a police car in viral video footage on social media.
