Sharif Osman Hadi, a potential independent candidate for the Dhaka-8 constituency in the upcoming Bangladesh election and spokesperson for 'Inquilab Mancha', is being taken to Singapore for treatment.
Hadi, who was shot, had been receiving treatment at a hospital in Dhaka until now. On Monday (December 15) afternoon, he was taken to Hazrat Shahjalal Airport by ambulance. He will be taken abroad by air ambulance for advanced medical services. The health adviser, special assistant, and health secretary are present at the airport.
On December 12 (Friday), two miscreants who came on a motorcycle shot Hadi while he was riding in a rickshaw and fled from the scene. In a critically injured condition, he was first admitted to Dhaka Medical College.

From there, he was transferred to another hospital. This incident has stirred up politics across Bangladesh. Questions are being raised about who shot Hadi ahead of the elections in Bangladesh.
At the same time, questions are also being raised about Muhammad Yunus's administration. A case has already been filed at Dhaka's Paltan police station regarding this incident.

Bangladesh's law enforcement agencies have so far detained eight suspects in this incident. Alamgir Sheikh was allegedly driving the motorcycle used in the attack on Hadi, and a person named Faisal Karim Masud, sitting on the back of the motorcycle, fired the shots, according to allegations.
Police have also arrested a person named Abdul Hannan on suspicion of being the owner of that motorcycle. In this incident, police have also arrested Faisal Karim Masud's wife, Samia, girlfriend Maria, and brother-in-law Shipu.
