FC Barcelona defeated arch-rivals Real Madrid 2-0 in El Clásico to officially win the 2025-26 La Liga title. Playing at the Spotify Camp Nou, Barcelona produced a calm and dominant display to seal the championship with three matches remaining in the season.
Barcelona started aggressively and took the lead in the ninth minute through Marcus Rashford. The English forward scored a brilliant free-kick to give the home side an early advantage. Ferran Torres then added the second goal before halftime after finishing a quick attacking move, leaving Real Madrid under heavy pressure.
Madrid failed to break Barcelona's defence
Real Madrid attempted to make a comeback in the second half but struggled to create clear chances. The absence of Kylian Mbappe due to injury affected Madrid’s attacking strength, while Barcelona’s midfield controlled possession throughout the game.
