The board, however, has not issued any official statement regarding the exact release date or time. In previous years, CBSE has generally declared Class 12 results during the second or third week of May. More than 18 lakh students are awaiting results
This year, nearly 18.5 lakh students appeared for the CBSE Class 12 board examinations conducted between February 17 and April 10. Students from Science, Commerce and Arts streams are now waiting for their final scorecards and qualifying status.
Reports also indicate that the evaluation process has become faster due to CBSEās On-Screen Marking (OSM) system. The digital evaluation method was introduced to improve efficiency and accuracy while checking answer sheets.
Students can check scorecards online
Once the results are declared, students will be able to access their marksheets through official CBSE websites, DigiLocker and the UMANG application. The result is expected to be available on portals such as cbse.gov.in, results.cbse.nic.in and cbseresults.nic.in.
To download their scorecards, students will need details including their roll number, school number, admit card ID and date of birth. These details must match the information mentioned on the admit card.
