MG Motor is making headlines with its upcoming flagship SUV, the MG Majestor, which has set a Guinness World Record by towing a massive 406.4-tonne train over a distance of 300 feet. This is a first-of-its-kind achievement for any SUV and comes just ahead of its India launch.
Pre-bookings for the Majestor are already open at Rs 41,000, with exclusive benefits being offered to the first 3,000 customers. The SUV is expected to be launched later this month, with deliveries likely to begin from May.
Bold design and feature-loaded cabin
The MG Majestor comes with a strong and rugged design. At the front, it features a large rectangular grille with a gloss black finish, along with vertically stacked LED projector headlamps and slim LED DRLs. The grille also houses the brand logo, ADAS radar and parking sensors.
From the side, the SUV gets blacked-out elements, body cladding and 19-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. At the rear, it features connected LED tail lamps, ‘Morris Garages’ branding and a 4WD badge, giving it a bold road presence.
Inside, the cabin gets a premium black and grey theme with leatherette seats and a redesigned dashboard. The SUV features a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless connectivity. Other highlights include ventilated and massaging front seats, three-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof and dual wireless chargers.
