The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the reopened registration window for CUET UG 2026 today, February 26, at 11:50 PM.
Candidates who want to apply for the Common University Entrance Test (UG) can register on the official website - cuet.nta.nic.in.
The CUET UG 2026 exam will be held from May 11 to May 31, 2026. It will cover 37 subjects. Candidates can choose up to five subjects, including languages and the General Aptitude Test, irrespective of their Class XII subjects.
How to apply
To register, candidates should:
1. Visit cuet.nta.nic.in.
2. Click on the CUET UG 2026 registration link.
3. Complete the registration process.
4. Log in to the account.
5. Fill the application form and pay the fee.
6. Submit the form.
7. Download and print the confirmation page.

Application fee details
The fee for up to three subjects is Rs. 1000 for the General category. For each additional subject, Rs. 400 will be charged.
For OBC (NCL) and EWS candidates, the fee is Rs. 900 for three subjects and Rs. 375 for each extra subject. For SC/ST/PwD/PwBD/Third gender candidates, it is Rs. 800 for three subjects and Rs. 350 for each additional subject.

Exam pattern and marking
Each question paper will have 50 questions. All questions are compulsory.
For every correct answer, five marks will be awarded. One mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. Candidates are advised to check the official website for more details and updates.
The registration window closes on February 26. Applicants should complete the process before the deadline.
