The All-India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has started the registration process for the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET) 10, and eligible candidates can apply through the official website, aiimsexams.ac.in.
As per the notification, the last date for application submission is March 16, 2026. The recruitment exam will be conducted in two phases. Phase I (Prelims) will take place on April 11, 2026, and Phase II (Mains) will be held on April 30, 2026.

Eligibility criteria and age limit
Applicants for AIIMS NORCET 10 must possess one of the following qualifications from a recognized institution by the Indian Nursing Council or State Nursing Council:
B.Sc (Hons) Nursing or B.Sc Nursing
B.Sc (Post-Certificate) / Post Basic B.Sc Nursing
Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery
Applicants must be between 18 and 30 years of age at the time of application.
Exam pattern and selection process
The selection procedure shall comprise a two-tier computer-based examination.
The Stage I exam will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) carrying 100 marks to be answered in 90 minutes. Of these, 20 questions shall be on General Knowledge and Aptitude, and 80 questions shall be based on the nursing syllabus as applicable to the essential qualification level.
The exam shall be divided into five sections, each lasting 18 minutes, with 20 questions in each section. There shall be a negative marking of one-third of a mark for each incorrect answer.

Only candidates who qualify in Stage I shall be eligible to sit for the Stage II (Mains) exam, which shall be the final selection procedure.
Application fee
The application fee is:
₹3,000 for General and OBC candidates
₹2,400 for SC, ST and EWS candidates
The fee must be paid online using debit card, credit card or net banking. Any applicable bank transaction charges will be borne by the candidate.
