Border 2, led by Sunny Deol, continued its dominant run at the domestic box office, crossing the mark of ₹150 crore within four days of its release. The war drama saw a sharp jump in collections on Republic Day, pushing its total India net to approximately ₹180 crore.
The film, which also stars Diljit Dosanjh, Varun Dhawan and Ahaan Shetty, benefited from the extended holiday weekend and strong footfalls across mass and urban centres.

Republic Day push lifts collections
According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Border 2 earned ₹59 crore on Monday which is its highest single-day collection so far. The figure is also being cited as one of the biggest Republic Day box office hauls in recent years.
The film opened with ₹30 crore on Friday, followed by ₹36.5 crore on Saturday. Sunday witnessed a steep rise of nearly 50 per cent, helping the film enter the ₹100 crore club before the Republic Day boost consolidated its lead.
With these numbers, Border 2 has already surpassed the opening weekend performance of Dhurandhar, which had earlier dominated the box office charts.
