The makers of Eetha on Monday unveiled the first teaser of the much-anticipated biographical drama starring Shraddha Kapoor as legendary Tamasha and Lavani performer Vithabai Bhau Mang Narayangaonkar.
Under the direction of Laxman Utekar, who directed the box-office hit film 'Chhaava,' Eetha is a story of life of the one of the most prominent artistes of Maharashtra's folk theatre.
The teaser presents the audience with a glimpse of the tenacity and dedication of Vithabai to her art form, which led to the making of her reputation in Marathi folk theatre.
Teaser showcases a performer's resilience
The teaser opens with Lavani artistes performing before an audience before an agitated crowd interrupts the show, demanding that Eetha take the stage.
